Screen Printing

Artwork: After we have received your design, the artwork is separated into individual colors by a computer, and later printed onto film sheets. Each film sheet is then "burned" onto a seperate screen.

Screen Creation: Screens are made from a nylon or polyester fabric that is stretched over an aluminum or wood frame. The fabric is coated with a light-sensitive emulsion, then exposed to a high-intensity light with the film sheet on top to copy the artwork onto the screen. The screen is then checked by the artist for perfection and sent off for printing.

Printing: Each seperate screen is used to create one combined print. After quality and correctness are assured through a series of test prints, the clothing is then printed. The printing technician examines the clothing for correctness and places it through an industrial dryer. The clothing goes through an additional inspection prior to being folded and boxed for delivery.
